New Maison Martin Margiela sunglasses (via High Snobiety)
Fashion bloggers went nuts over Maison Martin Margiela L’incognito sunglasses last year and understandably so. L’incognito are futuristic and shiny and remind me of Geordi in Star Trek: TNG (HI! I’m a big nerd!). The wearer, when photographed, looks like they’ve already had an anonymising stripe Photoshopped across their eyes. Hell, even Pharrell donned them in the Hype Williams directed video for Everyone Nose (remix).

After seeing L’incognito, I thought there’d be even more strange awesomeness in 2009, but these new sunglasses look too much like ski masks for me to honestly say I like them. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if my mind changed once I see pictures of someone actually wearing them.
Does this mean I can’t talk today?

I have two pairs of these glasses, one of which is still in their box and have never been worn. They retail at €390 but I’m happy to work out a price with anyone who’d be interested in buying them as it’s a shame they are sitting about gathering dust whilst the others get used.
