Napoleon’s Kryptonite
I never wanted to like anything from Paul Frank. My disdain began about ten years ago when I first saw a t-shirt proclaiming, “Paul Frank is your friend” (no he’s bloody not!) and then there was that awful monkey on everything… It just seemed so forced. I have to admit, though, that Baumvision’s eyewear collection for Paul Frank looks fantastic. Some are even named after songs that I like – there are pairs called Paper Planes and My Heart Rate Rapid.

I’ve had a pair of Paul Frank sunglasses for 4 years. (They’re my rose-coloured glasses: http://is.gd/cVUPu) I adore them, haven’t found a pair that suit me better since. I never got on the Paul Frank bandwagon either but their optical stuff is beautifully designed and manufactured… with no annoying monkey in sight. They disappeared for a while, I’m glad they’re back.
